The changing role of women in corporate leadership

In the new corporate culture, talent is the most important parameter of performance.

Today, corporate all over the world are enthused by having more women at senior positions than in the past. Be it Nithya Ramkumar who heads Business Platforms or, Trupti Mukker who heads Consumer Financial Services in Wipro, the list of women achievers is certainly growing.

Many competent women have made a visible difference in the senior management. However, women continue to remain underrepresented at every level in the corporate pipeline as the rate for promotions are higher for men than women according to studies.  .
